Can you return a purse to nordstrom without a tag?

I bought a juicy couture purse from nordstrom and i cut off the tag because I thought I was going to keep it but my grandmother ended up buying the same purse for me a week later. So if I still have all of the stuffing in the purse and the tag(but not attatched) and the reciept can I get my money back?

    I think that all returns must have a tag on them

    Every return must have a tag. Because they cant ring the item up without a tag. Also they might think you used the bag.
