There really is no comparison when it comes to antique lamps versus the modern lamps of today. They are both very beautiful and serve the purpose that they are designed for. It all depends on a person's taste in which lamp they will decide to have in their decor. Usually the older generation will head more towards the antique lamp style while the younger people will be more modern. But this is basically a normal occurence because usually people are use to what they grow up and change is good and exciting, but what it all boils down to, is many people stick with their roots.
